Hi, my name is John.

I am a front-end web developer located in Sydney, Australia.

My Portfolio

Here is a selection of my most recent work.

Community and Public Sector Union

Content managed website built on WordPress utilising a combination of bespoke and customised third-party plugins, widgets, short-codes to simplify the distribution of union news, upcoming events and campaign information.

Banjos Bakery Cafe

Content managed website for a national bakery chain built on WordPress with full product catalog, national store finder and job application forms. Complimented with a bespoke ordering system for catering built on Django.

Ionata Web Solutions

A new online home built on WordPress for the good folk at Ionata Web Solutions, my current employer, and (by no coincidence…) one of the leading web development agencies in Tasmania.

Hobart Design

Content managed website for one of Tasmania’s most prolific web design agencies. Features a home page slider with three layers of moving parts. Built on WordPress and optimised for mobile using media queries and a “mobile first” methodology.

Esther Boutique

E-commerce solution for a small Tasmanian boutique built on the Shopify platform. Now one of the most popular stores on Shopify.

The Taste Festival 2011

Content managed website built on WordPress and a Django-based event management system. Optimised for mobile using responsive methodology. (2011 festival – website no longer active)

Camden Fishing
